Recently, on a typically laid-back Saturday, my two boys were done watching their favorite morning cartoons (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Spider Man) and it was time for something new and exciting in their lives.

My four-year-old starting quizzing me with, “Daddy can you take us to the playground? And can we go to McDonald’s?”
